As a member of the quality team you will work closely with various disciplines engineering, manufacturing and supply chain departments to ensure a world class product quality and service. You will be responsible for both quality sustaining as well as Quality Assurance in product development. You will act as the customer interface for quality issues/complaints and you will be responsible for track and prioritize activities within the QA group. You also will represent the BL quality in changes and transfers and you will set corrective actions in co-operation with the engineering team as well as with factories & subcontractors. On the Product Development site, you will discuss quality requirements with customers and participate in plan definitions to secure corporate quality compliancy.

	Quality Engineer Als Quality Engineer werk je in een multidisciplinair team met Process, Maintenance, Development en Logistic Engineers. Het team wordt geleid door een Production Manager en bestaat uit 5 tot 10 personen. Het team is verantwoordelijk voor de operationele performance van de Mini Company (een Mini Company is een productie unit welke wordt geleid door een Ploegleider en waar wordt gewerkt in 1 tot 5 ploegen). De Quality Engineer is het aanspreekpunt voor interne en externe leveranciers en klanten van de Mini Company (bijvoorbeeld andere Mini Company's of andere Sites). De Quality Engineer is betrokken bij de introductie en release van nieuwe producten en processen. Het is de verantwoordelijkheid van de Quality Engineer dat de FMEA en R&R onderzoeken worden uitgevoerd en dat de producten voldoen aan de Cpk eisen. Daarnaast is het de verantwoordelijkheid van de Quality Engineer om de quality issues te begrijpen en op te lossen door gebruik te maken van de 8D methode.
	Quality Engineer Ref. 1011004 AAls quality engineer assisteert en ondersteunt u de manager Quality assurance & process improvement. Tevens verzorgt u statistische analyses en kwaliteitsrapportages. Aan u wordt ook gevraagd om metingen aan de producten (mede) uit te voeren en om de quality technicians te ondersteunen in hun werkzaamheden. In het kader van Lean / Six Sigma zult u nauw betrokken worden bij het initiëren van verbeterprojecten binnen de gehele organisatie. Ook zult u medewerkers op de afdeling Operations trainen en coachen.
