For our client we are searching for a Composites Engineer. Our client is a professional and dynamic company in the rapidly growing international wind energy market. She specializes in the design and development of rotor blades and nacelles for wind turbines. With her specialty in the composites industry, this organisation with its advanced technology and expertise is unique in the world. As Composites engineer you are responsible for technical development, audits and evaluation of both composite materials (release projects) and suppliers that meet the organisations standards of quality and cost. As well as to conduct fundamental research to improve or generate new materials to improve quality of product and production processes. You participate in Blade Design Project teams. Tasks: Evaluate first, second and third degree suppliers and raw materials in terms of quality (IGI, COC) and cost for short and long term delivery and capacity in order to release materials; Combine technical and commercial aspects in negotiation of purchasing raw materials within a complex environment of internal and external interests in cooperation with the commercial team; Deliver technical service support in terms of knowledge transfer and constant monitoring of material behavior; Conduct complex projects mostly approval oriented using existing or new methods and theories to test and develop new materials within quality, HSE and quantitative requirements; Conduct complex research projects into materials and their behaviour with research institutes and universities; Set up laboratory tests, calculates and analyses test results and prepares detailed reports with recommendations and conclusions; Ensure and monitors quality standards such as ISO/DIN/ASTM dictated and validated by GL/DNV; Supervise, coordinate, monitor and evaluate evaluation, R&D or large scale tests within production organizations in India, China and USA to ensure (quality) standards are met and followed; Set up and maintains documents on material specifications, release procedures, work instructions, test reports etc; Develop and maintain technical expertise on advances and innovations in research and science in composite industry.

As a Tooling Engineer you are responsible for technical development, audits and evaluation of tooling that meet the organizations standards of quality and cost. As well as to conduct fundamental research to improve or generate new tooling concepts to improve quality of product and production processes. You participate in Blade Design Project teams. Tasks: Design the moulds, blade handling equipment and process support tooling; Perform Factory and Site approval tests; Interface with tool manufacturing facilities; Conduct complex research projects into tooling concepts with research institutes and universities; Set up laboratory tests, calculates and analyses test results and prepares detailed reports with recommendations and conclusions; Supervise, coordinate, monitor and evaluate evaluation, R&D or large scale tests within production organizations in India, China and USA to ensure (quality) standards are met and followed.
