Als Logistical Engineer bent u als specialist verantwoordelijk voor het ontwikkelen, implementeren en optimaliseren van efficiente en effectieve logistieke processen, systemen en stromen teneinde de logistieke performance in de ogen van afnemers op een maximaal niveau te brengen en te behouden. U bent werkzaam binnen de afdeling logistiek, maar functioneert ook afdelingsoverschrijdend en binnen toegewezen projecten. U rapporteert aan de logistiek manager. De volgende taken behoren tot uw werkzaamheden: - het uitvoeren van logistieke analyses en haalbaarheidsstudies en het verwerken van de resultaten ten behoeve van objectieve oordeelsvorming - verzorgen van rapportages met betrekking tot logistieke performance - het verbeteren, optimaliseren en standaardiseren van werkmethoden en processen op het vlak van efficiency, effectiviteit en de toepassing van automatisering - het behandelen, oplossen en reduceren van klantenklachten - het ondersteunen van de transportplanning bij ziek en piekperiodes
