Als Propulsion Engineer bent u verantwoordelijk voor het ontwerpproces van straalbuizen en scheepsschroeven, waarbij ieder project op klantspecifieke wens wordt gerealiseerd en dus uniek is. U adviseert klanten in het ontwerpproces en verzorgt de calculatie van projecten. Daarnaast hebt u intensief contact met de CAM-engineers en de afdeling Verkoop.

Product Engineer Propultion Maandag Eindhoven is op zoek naar een Product Engineer Propulsion. Voor een producent van scheepsvoortstuwingssystemen zoeken wij een zelfstandige en initiatiefrijk product engineer. De functie omvat de volgende werkzaamheden: Uitwerken van de techniek van voortstuwingsinstallaties aan de hand van de specificaties en binnen vastgesteld budget en doorlooptijd. Onderdelen hiervan zijn het maken van tekeningen en stuklijsten en het uitvoeren van enkele mechanische berekeningen, zodanig dat de hoofd componenten worden geselecteerd. Voorgenoemde taak wordt uitgevoerd met een 3D CAD systeem (Unigraphics NX4 of hoger). Het verzorgen van een effectieve communicatie met de verschillende wereldwijde productielocaties over de technische inhoud van het ontwerp met de daartoe behorende rapportages. Ook het afstemmen van allerhande technische details met betrokken partijen behoort hiertoe. Uitwerken van varianten van gestandaardiseerde onderdelen en samenstellingen. Meewerken aan het verder uitbouwen van ontwerptools, procedures en werkprocessen. |

StandardisationandHarmonisation Expert At Wartsila Netherlands Our R&D Department is looking for a: Standardisation & Harmonisation Expert (1 FTE) JOB DESCRIPTION: Standardisation & Harmonisation expert will take the role in Propulsion to coordinate common solutions and to standardise and harmonise the way of working within WIO R&D. He will secure the creation of structured and consistent database of materials and guidelines to support R&D projects with particular focus on New Thrusters Product Portfolio. Furthermore the S&H team will provide tools to support engineering and guaranty the dataflow of key data to other stakeholders as Purchasing, Production etc. RESPONSIBILITIES: Coordinate onsite the R&D and Delivery Centres needs and support the customers as an expert in following roles: - Creating a common set of Std. Materials for new Wärtsilä Products. - Act as point of contact for International Standard Issues. - Coordinate activities for elimination of duplicates and harmonisation of Std. Materials in PDM. - Define and introduce common design and quality guidelines database. - Develop further management of Basic Materials for sharing with Join Venture companies outside Europe. - Actively support as S&H Expert the following Projects: Ø NTPP (New Thrusters Portfolio) Ø MATDAT (Basic Material Project) Ø Propulsion PDM Datacleaning Ø Standardisation & Harmonisation Project. |
