Within Vattenfall's Business Division Asset Development we are looking for a Lead Engineer Controls & Instrumentation. This Business Division is responsible for the development and construction of all new assets and major modifications of existing assets. Business Division Asset Development identifies business opportunities, creates and develops business cases and the associated investment proposals, obtains the final investment decision, and realizes the new assets. Investment costs of individual projects range from ? 10 mln to over ? 1 bln. Currently, the Business Division has several projects in development and under construction in the Netherlands and Belgium, amongst which the Magnum Phase 1 Project. This projects entails the construction of three Combined Cycle Units with an output of approximately 1200 MW. The project is currently under construction in Eemshaven. Your responsibilities To ensure a sound engineering of the Control & Instrumentation and Telecom Systems for the Magnum Phase 1 Project according the Contract Specifications, the applicable laws, regulations and permits. There's one main EPC Contractor for the CCU's. The Non Process Building is separately contracted to a civil contractor. The plant automation will be delivered by as part of the main EPC scope. The plant wide telecom systems will be delivered by third party based on an umbrella agreement, covering the main EPC scope, and the Non Process Building scope and the remaining scope for Vattenfall The Lead Engineer C&I is responsible for the sound engineering of the Control & Instrumentation and Telecom Systems for the Magnum Phase 1 Project according the Contract Specifications and the applicable laws, regulations and permits. A key part of this role is to facilitate in basic and detailed engineering, acceptance testing and commissioning of the: Overall plant controls (DCS) Central Control Room (CCR) and the related Server Rooms Interfacing of the plant controls with Vattenfall Energy Trading dispatch system and third parties Plant Field Instrumentation Plant Telecommunication System (including ICT) The Operation Training Simulator Any other C&I or telecom related systems Requirements Bachelor / master of engineering 10 years of relevant experience Knowledge of ISO 9001:2000 and other quality management systems such as TQM VCA certified Prince2 Foundation certified is a preference Excellent English communication skills (verbal and written).
