De afdeling Testing is verantwoordelijk voor het leveren van testgegevens betreffende grondstoffen, componenten en eindproducten aan de totale organisatie. Het R&D- laboratorium, bestaande uit 11 medewerkers, is dagelijks op zoek naar nieuwe, inventieve methoden om de producten te laten voldoen aan de eisen en wensen van klant en wetgeving. De functie: De researcher ontwikkelt zelfstandig en in overleg met opdrachtgevers nieuwe fysische meetmethoden voor onder andere versterkingsmaterialen. Verder wordt een bijdrage geleverd aan de afhandeling van de reguliere werkzaamheden en standaardisatie in het fysisch laboratorium. Ook wordt onderzoek uitgevoerd ten behoeve van troubleshooting. De researcher is discussiepartner voor de afdeling productie, materiaaltechnologen, fysici en constructeurs en neemt deel of geeft leiding aan projecten (afdeling overstijgend en internationaal).
