Naast systemen van o.a. Siemens, ABB en Rockwell gebruiken ze hun zelf ontwikkelde MES Toolbox als platform voor veel interessante automatiseringsprojecten. Functieomschrijving Application Engineer Je programmeert applicatiesoftware voor PLC/SCADA en/of DCS systemen en MES aan de hand van een technisch ontwerp. Aansluitend voer je testen uit en ben je betrokken bij het in bedrijf stellen. Je krijgt bijvoorbeeld de opdracht installaties te ontwerpen voor een veevoederfabriek. Een abstract bestek van de opdrachtgever ligt klaar, maar er zijn alleen eindfunctionaliteiten geformuleerd.Afhankelijk van je capaciteiten en ambities kun je vanuit deze functie doorgroeien naar een technisch of organisatorisch georiënteerde functie in de industriële automatisering. Ook het in bedrijfstellen en verlenen van service op locatie behoort tot je taken. Je bent dus letterlijk van A tot Z bij een project betrokken. Daarnaast krijg je de nodige ruimte om je verder te ontwikkelen in één of meer technologiegebieden binnen de industriële automatisering. Functiecriteria Application Engineer Je beschikt over een afgeronde HTS opleiding (bij voorkeur richting besturings- of informatietechniek) en minimaal 3 jaar ervaring in het uitvoeren van industriële automatiseringsprojecten. Daarnaast heb je ruime ervaring met het ontwikkelen van applicatiesoftware voor één of meer gangbare systemen (Siemens S7/PCS7/WinCC, Allen Bradley ControlLogix/RSView, ABB Industrial IT/Sattline, e.a.). Indien je kennis hebt van batch control (ISA 88) en MES (ISA 95) dan is dat een pré. Je beschikt over praktische ervaring met netwerken (Ethernet, Profibus), webtechnologie, databases (SQL) en één of meer programmeertalen (C#, VB, Java). Plc Application Engineer In deze functie ben je verantwoordelijk voor het ontwerpen en implementeren van de besturing van iedere individuele machine. Hierbij maak je gebruik van verschillende merken aan PLC- en SCADA applicaties, maar voornamelijk van Siemens. Doordat vaak dezelfde programmatuur wordt gebruikt, is het mogelijk om écht de technische diepgang op te zoeken en het maximale uit het systeem te kunnen halen. Je vertaalt de klantwensen naar een functioneel ontwerp en stelt de configuratie van de systemen samen. Afhankelijk van de omvang van het project ontwikkel je zelfstandig of met je collega's de PLC- SCADA applicatie. Bij grote projecten werk je onder leiding van een Lead Engineer, maar bij kleine projecten is het ook zeker mogelijk dat je zelf de gehele verantwoording krijgt. Uiteraard onderhoud je intensief contact met de Mechanical Engineer en de Hardware Engineer, aangezien elke machine in teamverband wordt opgeleverd. Je voert zowel een Factory Acceptance Test (FAT) als een Site Acceptance Test (SAT) uit, wat inhoudt dat je de systemen eerst grondig test alvorens je deze op locatie implementeert bij de klant. Doordat iedere machine weer specifiek op maat gemaakt wordt, is ook geen enkel project hetzelfde en wordt je in deze functie continu uitgedaagd! |

Junior Application Engineer Als Junior Engineer implementeer je besturingssoftware aan de hand van een technische specificatie en het technisch ontwerp. Ook assisteer je bij het testen en in bedrijf stellen van de besturingssoftware. De Junior Engineer wordt ingezet op projecten voor diverse opdrachtgevers en werkt onder de verantwoording van een Senior Engineer / Projectleider. Meetpunten binnen het totale werkproces zijn de afronding van de implementatie (afgerond met de Interne Test), de FAT (Factory Acceptance Test), SAT (Site Acceptance Test) en de realisatie van de afgesproken opleverdatum. De Junior Engineer assisteert bij de projectuitvoering, zodat deze wordt gerealiseerd zoals beschreven in het functioneel ontwerp. Daarnaast is het belangrijk dat de Junior Engineer zich ontwikkelt op het vakgebied door training on the job en cursussen. Werkgebieden binnen de Industriële Automatisering zijn onder andere PLC programmeren, SCADA engineering, meet en regeltechniek en besturingssystemen. |

PRINCIPLE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS) Review and evaluate detailed and extensive technical specifications for packaged equipment. Extracts applicable client requirements. Inputs client application condition into design program calculations to select appropriate equipment. Development of budgets and project cost estimates for bid process Preparing technical and commercial quotations for the clients Reviews product design for compliance with engineering principles, company standards, customer contract requirements, and related specifications. Liaises with project detail engineers in preparation of outline arrangement drawings for client bid submissions. Responds on detailed technical clarification questions from clients contract negotiations. Liaising with other internal departments such as Detailed Engineering, Customer Services Purchasing, Production, Finance, as well as field sales personnel and suppliers, as necessary. Following up quotations proactively to secure the business for the company through support for Regional Sales Managers. Je programmeert applicatiesoftware voor PLC/SCADA en/of DCS systemen en MES aan de hand van een technisch ontwerp. Aansluitend voer je testen uit en ben je betrokken bij het in bedrijf stellen. Je krijgt bijvoorbeeld de opdracht installaties te ontwerpen voor een veevoederfabriek. Een abstract bestek van de opdrachtgever ligt klaar, maar er zijn alleen eindfunctionaliteiten geformuleerd.Afhankelijk van je capaciteiten en ambities kun je vanuit deze functie doorgroeien naar een technisch of organisatorisch georiënteerde functie in de industriële automatisering. Ook het in bedrijfstellen en verlenen van service op locatie behoort tot je taken. Je bent dus letterlijk van A tot Z bij een project betrokken. Daarnaast krijg je de nodige ruimte om je verder te ontwikkelen in één of meer technologiegebieden binnen de industriële automatisering. Je beschikt over een afgeronde HTS opleiding (bij voorkeur richting besturings- of informatietechniek) en minimaal 3 jaar ervaring in het uitvoeren van industriële automatiseringsprojecten. Daarnaast heb je ruime ervaring met het ontwikkelen van applicatiesoftware voor één of meer gangbare systemen (Siemens S7/PCS7/WinCC, Allen Bradley ControlLogix/RSView, ABB Industrial IT/Sattline, e.a.). Indien je kennis hebt van batch control (ISA 88) en MES (ISA 95) dan is dat een pré. Je beschikt over praktische ervaring met netwerken (Ethernet, Profibus), webtechnologie, databases (SQL) en één of meer programmeertalen (C#, VB, Java).
