Bedrijfsprofiel: Plant Manager For an international building company we are looking for a Plant Manager to work on construction projects in the fields of civil engineering, general building, infrastructure and industrial projects, as well as in multidisciplinary projects for the oil and gas industry. The Plant & Logistics department takes care of the equipment they use on their projects worldwide and equipment-related engineering. This includes purchasing and transport of equipment and building materials. Functieomschrijving: Plant Manager As Plant manager you are overall responsible for ensuring that the equipment for (marine or civil) projects in the area is well managed and effectively utilized at optimum cost. Your main tasks and accountabilities are: * Managing a plant and all equipment on a project site outside Europe; * Planning and supervising project equipment (owned and third party rentals); * Organising and controlling maintenance (physical and administrative); * Managing project plant including all required certification, administration; * Negotiating rental rates and conditions; * Mobilizing and demobilizing at the start and end of the project; * Managing the spare-part store; * Recruiting and training local employees. You will be part of the project management team and report to both project management and the central Plant & Logistics department.
