Sakura Finetek Europe develops, manufactures and sells histological, cytological and pathological equipment and achieved its success and solidified its reputation by providing timely, ingenious solutions for everyday challenges that laboratories have to deal with. Sakura has headquarters in Japan, USA and in The Netherlands. From the office in Alphen aan den Rijn the marketing, distribution and product support for Europe, Africa, India and the Middle East is coordinated. At present there are about 95 people working at various locations in Europe. As the European head office in Alphen aan de Rijn is expanding, we are looking for a (m/f) Business Development Manager Managing new, innovative product lines in EMEA and India The position You are responsible for business development of innovative new product lines and identifying opportunities for revenues growth in Europe, Middle East, Africa and India. You are based at the European headquarter in Alphen aan de Rijn and approximately 30% of your time you are travelling to distributors in EMEA and India to develop new business. You will define and manage the successful introduction of these new project lines and will train the sales team. You report to the Manager Marketing & Development. Your Profile You are a self-starting and experienced Business Developer with international business experience in Medical Diagnostics and/or Optics. You are sales-driven and are able to communicate at a high level. You feel at home in a result driven and customer oriented environment and are willing to travel regularly. Bachelor / Master degree (Business Administration, Commercial Economics, Sales) and fluent in Dutch and English. Knowledge of German and French is a plus.
