    As Director, European Sales you will lead the commercial team in Europe and will be charged with growth in all channels, including OEM, distributor and catalogue sales. You will be responsible for driving the Sales growth of Gast & JUN-AIR brands in EMEA. You will also be responsible for the European commercial function (Sales, Service, and Customer Service) and performance. You will have P&L responsibility for 5 Regional Sales Managers and 7 Customer Services Representatives. The Role: Directs the activities of Gasts European Sales Managers. Provides alignment of business strategy and Goal Deployed activities. Own the planning and execution of the European sales strategy, including input to short-range and long-range company strategic planning processes. Visit European Distributors, customers and prospects to promote relationships, business incentive programs, new marketing programs, new products and obtain feedback on products and service. Typical Time Allocation for this role: - 50% Develop and Execute a business plan/strategy for European Sales. - 25% Responsible for talent assessment, development, retention, and recruitment. - 15% Provide accurate / timely communications to internal and external constituents. - 10% Support and provide direction to marketing team. Extensive travel throughout Europe will be required. The Person: Strong experience within professional sales and/or account management environment. Experience of including sales channel management including managing distributor networks is desirable. Proven track record of delivering significant sales growth whilst maintaining customer satisfaction. Strong leadership skills are essential and experience of leading remotely based teams if highly desirable. Degree in Business, Sales, Marketing or a Technical field. Good communication skills are essential. Must speak English and another European language. Demonstrated knowledge of following commercial markets preferred: Beverage, medical device, packaging, dental, laboratory and industrial. Has preferably worked for an international company and as such is comfortable working remotely and is used to corporate reporting processes.
